Question 27

December 24, 2010

How do you make time for other things between work? Are there some hobbies/pass-times you’ve had to give up since you began your journey that you would like back?

Submitted by Karan S. Dec 24, 2010

It’s an all in one with me now these days. The only thing I don’t do as much as I used to is skateboard. I definitely need to double or triple up on my skate time cause it’s starting to take me way longer to warm up. Just the traveling makes it a bit more difficult, I never realized how much time traveling really takes away from you when it’s part of your daily/weekly schedule.

Question 26

Were there times, where you have been afraid about the future? I mean, before you got “famous”?

Submitted by Simon Hinz. Dec 24, 2010

Not really afraid but more so anxious and sometimes a little worried. I usually set goals for myself and along with those goals I apply age limits or time frames etc. so sometimes I would be worried it wouldn’t be possible to achieve certain accomplishments within those constraints. For the most part I’ve always been very excited for the future.

Question 25

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear used to be how I would create a financial future for my family. I have now conquered that.

Question 24

December 24, 2010

I was told recently that achieving success is simple. You think of what you believe success is, find people who are doing that and hang out with them and be around them as much as possible. Then you will become like them, successful but in your own way. Would you agree with this? And did’t you pretty much look up to yourself and make your own way?

From what I have observed, even people who have had success “handed” to them still have to work quite hard to keep it going. I’m sure that opportunities can be handed to people through certain relationships but if they aren’t working hard to maintain it, then just like anything else it would eventually fall by the wayside. I don’t think many people understand the definition of hard work or maybe just don’t have a good work ethic and that’s why they remain frustrated and complacent.
